The Problem:
Warhammer Online has no adjuster for mouse look sensitivity* (or mouse pointer for that matter). From the desktop, lowering the pointer speed works in-game and also lowers the mouse look speed. However, the pointer speed is far too slow when mouse look speed is fine, and when the pointer speed is okay, the mouse look speed is insanely fast. This literally makes the game controls absolutely terrible for me, being that I use mouse look 75% of the time or more. No hotfix has been issued after its first month of release, nor does one seem likely near.
Is It Possible?:
To make a script that when I press and hold down the right mouse button it will press another button that will lower the mouse speed (DPI setting). With my logitech mouse I have two sensitivity adjustment button (as well as 5 other regular buttons and another for task switching). Then when I let go of right mouse button, it will change the mouse speed back (by pressing a second adjuster button). I would also like this to work when pressing and holding the left mouse button. And then again for it to go back to normal after not holding it down.
Potentially Useful Information:
I am not sure as to whether or not AHK can recognize the mouse speed adjustment buttons. I am using the Logitech Setpoint drivers newest release. I am not able to bind these two buttons to another key, meaning the DPI change can only be used on the mouse 6/7 buttons (atleast there is no way that I know of).
Thanks for any potential help and feedback.
*If your unsure what I mean by Mouse Look: Pressing and holding the left mouse button enables you to turn the camera independently of where you are moving with your character (with WASD). Pressing and holding the right mouse button enables moving your character as you would in a 3rd person or First person Shooter game, where you move the mouse is where you look.

Out of all the MMORPGs I've played, I miss Warhammer online the most.
Usually, I don't understand why MMOs fail, I lack the attention to grind my way to 50 via quests (it always sucks balls) and when I played WoW for example I ended up doing dungeons and PvP to level up.
But WAR, the PvP was so fun, so engaging. I really loved playing the maruader, the white lion (lion was awesome) and that dude who flied on the disk that did lots of useless DoTs in pvp, i honestly just like seeing numbers come up on screen. This game had heaps of different classes to play and they weren't mirrored over to the other faction which is something you don't really see... ever. But the way PvP worked was just amazing fun and surprisingly balanced dispute having asymmetric classes, how tanks could actually tank in WAR was amazing, it's the first time where healers and tanks and dps all played their roles in a pvp environment, i'm so used to seeing DPS and healers just tank damage or duke it out 1v1. But, that's just the structured pvp, the open world pvp was just as amazing. I remember in the 1-11 areas how you've have a group of 20 staring another group of 20 down and you'd just try and taunt one into getting in range of your ranged DPS. In the 12-21 area you'd be fighting over castles instead of flags and by 31-40 you'd be laying siege on the capital cities. It was just epic and I loved how organised everybody was especially in the lower brackets.
now my computer didn't play it well when it first came out and i bought it and it was in it's prime. My character, trees, enemies would not show up and it genuinely sucked but when i changed my graphics card and finally got to play the game i had so much fun but there were problems with it. for example, level 40 SUCKS BALLS. Since this game had two levels, one was your regular level and the other was your PvP level which would also restrict you on what PVP armor you could wear. PvP armor was the tits, it was what you'd slave away grinding up those prestige levels for since it gave you a massive advantage over players who were a lower prestige. Now imagine P2W but instead of paying with money you paid with your time and as you just get fucked over by the wizard guys especailly since you'reeverybody rolls them and they did immense AOE damage (unlike flying disk dude who just did AOE DoTs) and you were most likely under-geared.
But still, regardless of how flawed the end game was this has got to be my favorite MMORPG with wow coming up second even though i didn't like it anywhere near as much.
